It's been a while since I actually blogged anything, so I guess it is time to start fresh! This was originally going to be my New Year's Resolution, but we all know how those go, so I figure now is as good of a time as any to get started again!
Many of you know that I LOVE buying clothes for Madelyn...like it is seriously an obsession...eh, borderline addiction...of mine. One brand that I particularly LOVE is Matilda Jane. Through Matilda Jane Clothing, I have met some pretty incredible people and learned of some pretty amazing organizations. Not long ago, I was approached about possibly donating a few sessions to an auction for one of those organizations that was created by the founder of Matilda Jane Clothing...The Mighty Acorn Foundation. Of course I said yes! Today, I shot one of the sessions (you'll see a few of those images later). Before we got started, I realized Madelyn was wearing the Changing the Face of Beauty t-shirt I purchased from the auction, so I decided to snap a few of her!
Changing the Face of Beauty is another GREAT organization that you should check out. They are working hard to show that everyone is beautiful, no matter what disability that might have. This is one thing that I try so hard to instill in Madelyn. No matter what size, shape, color, disability, etc...EVERYONE is beautiful in their own way.
